Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes! In 2023 we upgraded the existing system to provide more comprehensive and faster internet for our guests. For those who are looking for a little more of a boost, a network extender is available for rent for your cottage.

Is there good cell phone coverage?

Yes! Our experience is that all major cellular providers have very good coverage everywhere on the property.

Do you have air conditioning? TVs?

We believe in preserving the vintage cottage environment at Sundeck Cottages and, thus, do not provide air conditioning or televisions in the cottages. The exceptions to this are cottage 11 (air conditioning) and the apartments (tv).

What is stocked in the kitchens?

All of our kitchens are fully stocked to make your vacation enjoyable. There are full sized refrigerators, a stove / oven, coffee maker, microwave, plates, glasses, silverware, cookware, dish soap, a cleaning sponge, and a starter roll of paper towels. If there is something you need during your stay, just ask! We probably have one for you to use.

We have more than two cars. What do we do?

Please contact us and let us know what your situation is. We can usually accommodate your extra vehicle somewhere on our property.

I have an electric vehicle (EV). Can I charge at Sundeck?

Unfortunately, our infrastructure is not equipped at this time to allow for EV charging (even using 110/120 household chargers). We ask our guests to use nearby charging stations to power up.

What upgrades have you made recently?

For our 2024 season, we are excited to announce that we are converting all of our full beds to queen beds! This means brand new mattresses for all queen beds on the property. It also means more comfort and space to sleep on your vacation.

In 2023, the major improvement was to the Wi-Fi network and infrastructure resulting in more comprehensive and faster internet for our guests.

Why aren’t linens and/or towels included?

Most of our guests have been coming for years and prefer to bring their own linens and towels. For those that do not, we are able to provide these for a small fee. We charge for this service because we have to do all the laundry ourselves and it is very time consuming.
