Gather Your People on the Lake

For more than 70 years, families have come back to Sundeck year after year. For a few select weeks each season, we open the whole property to a single group, so your wedding party, team, or family can have three waterfront acres on Lake Winnipesaukee to yourselves.

Eleven cottages, a shared lakefront, and room to spread out means everyone stays together without being on top of each other. Mornings on the dock, long dinners outside, and quiet evenings by the water are what Sundeck does best.

Weddings

Say “I do” on the Sundeck or the Great Lawn, with Lake Winnipesaukee as your backdrop. Sundeck can host ceremonies and receptions for up to about 100 guests on-site, and lodging for 50 to 60 of your closest family and friends means the celebration doesn’t have to end when the night does. Prefer a venue nearby for the reception? Sundeck makes an easy home base for an off-site celebration, too.

Retreats

Get your team out of the office and onto the water. Sundeck gives you private cottages for everyone, open space to think, and a lake that makes it easy to step away from the screen. Rent a boat for an afternoon on Winnipesaukee or bring your own and tie up at our docks. It’s the kind of team outing people actually remember. Ideal for leadership offsites, creative workshops, and wellness retreats.

Reunions

Family reunions are part of Sundeck’s history. Cousins in one cottage, grandparents in another, and everyone meeting at the waterfront. It’s the summer gathering people talk about for years.

Good to Know

• A minimum 3-night stay is required for June and September group bookings

• Sundeck sleeps 50 to 60 guests across 11 cottages. On-site daily events can accommodate up to approximately 100 guests.

• Sundeck does not provide food service or a have an on-site professional kitchen. Groups are welcome to bring in outside caterers with advance approval.

• Quiet hours begin at 10 p.m. out of respect for our neighbors and guests.
